The hardest part of loving an old dog?
Seeing them struggle to do things they LOVE.
An old sad golden retriever
Nothing prepares us for the day our dog can’t get up the stairs:
Or when their back legs start to wobble, or when they just lie there wagging, instead of jumping up to greet you.

Nothing prepares us for when the guilt creeps in and we're constantly worrying:

“Is this pain or just age? How much time do we really have left? Am I overthinking this or not doing enough? What if I miss something important?”

Nothing prepares us for how hard we’ll wish they could just tell us exactly what they need!

Because we would give it to them in a heartbeat.

I know how heavy it feels,

the guilt of not doing enough, the worry every time your dog struggles to walk, the fear of time slipping away.

You're not alone.
Dog parents tell me all the time:

"she's not herself anymore"
“I feel stuck and overwhelmed by all the options.”
A lady worries about her aging dog
“It’s exhausting trying to manage everything on my own.”
“His anxiety and confusion breaks my heart.”

You don't have to figure it all out by yourself

I’m Lorna,

I’ve worked with hundreds of senior dogs through rehab, recovery, and end of life care.

I know what healing looks like - and I know when it’s the right time to shift the goal from full recovery to preserving the most possible comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

I’m trained in many modalities of canine rehab, and my techniques and support can be used alongside support from your vet and other therapists, or independently.

I build proven frameworks that help dogs move with less pain and families feel less alone.

How it works:

Targeted, evidence-based support for senior dogs who deserve better than “wait and see.”

Painful musculoskeletal or neurological issues can impact your dog’s mobility, their mood, and quality of life.

By assessing not just their behaviours, but also their gait, posture, joint range, strength, and balance, I can identify where they need support, and can show you specific things you can do at home, to help restore pain-free function, reduce stress and help them, and you, relax more.

If you’ve ever had a sports injury, a physio treatment, or even a relaxing massage, you know how incredibly important and restorative the right support can be when you’re feeling rough.

Simple, gentle techniques can bring huge relief to your beloved canine family members who are starting to slow down. And I’ll show you how.
