It all started with a simple, soul-deep truth: dogs are family. And when our dogs hurt, we hurt too.
As a devoted dog mum with a pack that included bouncy, high-energy adventurers facing arthritis and hip dysplasia, I know firsthand the overwhelming mix of emotions that come with supporting a dog through pain, injury, or ageing.
The late nights spent Googling symptoms, the frustration of conflicting advice, and that gut-wrenching fear of “Am I doing enough?”
I didn't want to just guess. I wanted real answers. I wanted options that were holistic, gentle, effective — and doable from home.
So in 2022, I launched my hands-on canine bodywork business in Wellington, New Zealand. I became qualified in canine massage, exercise rehab, conditioning, cold laser therapy, kinesiology taping, and grooming — not just to help my own dogs, but to help others like them.
The dogs who couldn’t speak up. The owners who were trying their best and still feeling lost. The ones searching for a better way.
But I quickly realised: it wasn’t enough to help dogs one at a time.
The need was bigger than my little corner of the world.
So I built Canine Health Hub — an app and global movement to empower dog lovers everywhere with expert-backed, proactive care tools they could trust.
